DIA is the closest airport to Winter Park. Guests will need to either rent a car or take the Amtrak train to get to Winter Park. If you drive, Winter Park is roughly 1.5-2 hours from the airport depending on traffic.
Home base for those who want to take the Amtrak train to Winter Park. RTD's A-Line will take you from DIA to Union Station, which is in the heart of downtown Denver.
The train departs once daily from Union Station in Denver, CO. Please use WIP (Fraser-Winter Park Station) as your destination. The Winter Park bus system (more info below) serves the Amtrak station.

AirBNB and VRBO are also a great option if you want to book a place for a large group. The towns of Winter Park and Fraser are both a short drive away from the resort. Info on the local shuttle system is located farther down.
Winter Park has a very robust and free bus/shuttle system. Uber and Lyft are very limited, so the bus is the best way to get around the area.

Summer service: Service is provided on the Black Line and the Granby Regional Commuter route only. Service runs from 7 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. 7 days between Winter Park Resort, the Towns of Winter Park, Fraser and Granby.
On-call service: The Lift offers free on-call service between ALL designated lift stops from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., 7 days a week. Call the number above to schedule a pickup.
